WORKSHOPS
Internet of Things in the Clouds
Learning the Internet of Things and cloud computing works best if we start practicing it sooner rather than later. In this workshop, you will learn about the Internet of Things, its variants – with similarities and differences, and possible use cases. Then you will see a few IoT cloud architectures. Finally, you will connect devices to the clouds, send messages and build a simple data processing solution.
This hands-on experience will be a good basis for learning more about this topic and finding a real-life IoT cloud project.
SPEECHES
Recipe for a cloud team
Before we deliver any larger cloud project, we need a team. Building a successful one is not a trivial task, as we experience a shortage of cloud specialists on the market, and we all know that cloud computing has a steep learning curve.
How to build such a team from scratch? How to train and guide juniors? What is the role of cloud architects and technical leaders? How to share knowledge and experience within the team?
Based on my experience as a cloud architect and technical leader, I will share my answers to these and related questions to inspire and encourage you to find yours.
